Christmas and New Year are all over…. I always have the feeling at this time of year that this should be a fresh start, an opportunity to improve myself; to be slimmer, nicer, more aware ……….. but as usual I’m the same old….. I got up this morning and bought the Independent’s guide to a better me, a new way of thinking that will make me slimmer ( I’m not joking that is what is says !!! you only have to buy the paper for 2 weeks .. sucker I hear you say) No doubt I will soon be back to believing that every day is the first day of the rest of my life………….. I like that; it means one can have loads of attempts at a new start!
