I understand why parents were upset! (I remember a boy in my class at primary school being caned for telling us the same information) But can a teacher really loose there job for telling children the truth?
“There has to be a little rain sometimes” I actually believe this sentiment and the grey clouds in my life are currently caused by good old (well they used to be good old) BT, so I suppose I should say thank you BT.. but I would choke on the words…
What do they know about communication.. absaloutely nothing. One man in India did make me laugh when he said ” everybody very pissed off” you have to imagine the Indian accent!!
Well its been 5 weeks and counting after 30+ hours on the phone a whole lot of stress and more than a few tears ….. we still don’t have a connection..

“BT customer service is either quick and efficient or so awful as to make you homicidal. Quick tip – if you need to ring about a new connection, checking on the status of your order it is simpler and quicker to try shouting out the window. I say that only half in jest, you wait an hour (every time) and then they don’t understand you, nor are able to help. Instead, being serious for a moment, if you really do need a new connection ring anyone but the option for a new connection. It’ll be the wrong dept. but you’ll get through straightaway (we got through to broadband, disconnections almost instantly) and they might be able to help. I’m not a businessman but you really shouldn’t leave NEW customers hanging on for an hour everytime they try to contact you.(Also, to the person who cut shortcuts when taking our order and thus precipitated this – you’re a bad man.)(Also, the new system is awful. A BT man came out for the flat next to us and apparently the new system means that he was unable to help us with a new order/connection. Something that he would have been able to do in the past. Progress eh?) “
You may say so what have a little patience but when I can’t communicate with my daughter, friends and family …. well this situation is really pissing me off……………….
